I’ve bought a few tracks from iTunes over the years but their DRM policies are beginning to grate with me. Ideally what I’d like is to be able to buy individual tracks at a high bit rate and with no DRM (wouldn’t we all I hear you say). I’ve had a look at emusic but they don’t seem to have a great catalog. Anyone got any ideas?

You could try wippit… (http://www.wippit.com/)
I pay for the all you can eat annual package – admittedly there is a lot of dross, but I’d say I get my fair share of stuff I like
Adrian, how’s things?! Long time no chat…
I came across Songbird (http://www.songbirdnest.com/) this week which maybe of interest to you in relation to this post.
This app is still in developer pre-release status, but it’s a very interesting idea. I’m very confused about how it works, but it’s advertised as a “…desktop media player mashed-up with the Web”
Anyway how’s life in FF? Busy as usual I’m sure?!
