One unfortunate problem with Mac OS X, is it is a little memory hungary. You really need 1 GB or more if you can afford it. For large apps like Eclipse 1.5 or 2 GB of RAM is better. I have my Macbook Pro partitioned, and now that VMware is releasing its program for Mac, I may move some stuff to that.
