iPhoto for the PC

13Mar05

Has anyone ever noticed that the bundled software that comes with digital cameras is usually complete crap. I was setting up an Olympus the other day for a family member and the software that came with it was brutal. I use a Mac for most of my media management so I’m used to iPhoto and the like. I had a look on the web for a Windows equivalent and came across this little gem, (Google Picasa). Google bought the company that develops it last year and instead of charging for it they’ve decided to give it away. It’s a fantastic application – if only it was available for the Mac.

    Dude,

All very well and all, but next time, do you think you could actually provide the details of this “little gem” or at least ensure that your link takes you to a site where you can download it?

  • Adrian Smith

Fair point Melinda. I've included the name of the product and fixed the link.
